I guess it takes a while for things like this to hit you, but i must say its starting to happen and it feels wierd. We are now out of the hands of the government(i must say thats kind of a relief) and our parents(which is a little frightening) and almost on our own.

As for teh actual ceremony, i found it very appropriate for me. I spent my time going back and forth between band and agriscience. i found it special that the first and last songs i played as a member of the band were When you Believe. It kind of made things come full circle. The actually ceremony wasnt all that, except for chris gelpe all the other speakers were pretty bad.

Well afterwards me and julia met up w/ Matt, Rodrigo, Blake, and Anthony at chili's. high fiving is the best thats all i have to say. that and singing random songs and wierding everyone in the restaurant out lol. after that me and julia drove around randomly and talked, great to have a friend like u love ya =) and after we tried to keep eachother from getting depressed i took her home and passed out at my place. and thats that, its over, and on to college!!!

shelby's curse has finally come true

for those of you that dont know, every car that shelby dianna russ drives is cursed. it is just a matter of time until this curse manifests itself. once at a football game shelby backed the volvo into a parking spot. this is payback for those few seconds.

the volvo has been having trouble for a couple weeks now, but we took it to the mechanic and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. but we got it back and every now and then this performance reduced signal would pop up and the car would loose most rpm's and the engine would seem like it was about to fall out of the mounts. after a couple of times of this only happening to me my parents thought that it was my fault till it happened to them. so today my dad took the car to the dealership to see what they could do. turns out there is nothing physically wrong with the car. the only problem seems to be with the computer. seems like a simple problem right? no... it will cost $2000 for some reason to fix what is basically a software problem.

oh well, at least i have "the shag"

today went to go get my watch from the apartment cause i forgot it there (its my dads rolex =P) carol came w/ me and we had fun, interesting convos, and plus sea turtles!!! hopefully see them in a month. then went to dinner at her house which was random but hey it was good. to bad for the heat tho =( get em next time

we get there and feed the ducks, quickly run out of bread, and all of a sudden SHE decides that we should go back and walk around the golf course at home... during rush hour traffic... on kendall drive... remember this was the original plan!!!!!!!

laugh attacks along the way back... plus some strange detours...

7:00!!
get home, bathroom break, about to go walking(finally) when my mom pops out of the bedroom in a dress which shes trying on because shes going to a wedding next week. of course im like btw julia is here, and she procedes to go "oh really! i want to know what she thinks!"

20 min later...
"ok bye!" finally get out start walking, 4 blocks later "ring ring"(its mom)
"bring julia back so she can see the shawl and the other stuff!!!"
"ok sure(this is hopeless)"

so finally, after almost 3 hours of being out, and having planned 5 hours before, no walking, because its late time to go home...

what happened to logic anyways?
